Ana Catarina Sousa holds a Master’s in Biotechnology Application and Synthetic Biology from the University of Porto and a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from the University of Minho. Her work specializes in Microbiology and Molecular Biology. She was involved in the EU-funded BiomeHealth project (GA 101159978), developing tools to detect pathogenic bacteria (Erwinia amylovora) and fungi (Stemphylium vesicarium) in plants and aerobiomes.
