Rafael is currently collaborating as an intern in the Vineprotect project, more specifically aiming in finding fungi that have PGP (plant-growth promoter) potential in grapevines. He is also currently involved in the BiomeHealth project, focusing on the molecular identification and virulence analysis of Erwinia amylovora.
